Put the new evaporator core, o-rings, and expansion valve in.
A/C unit is all together again and clean. (new fan is coming in)
Put my gauge set and pulled a vacuum on the system to check if the system still leaks and remove air. Needle stayed at 29 in. VAC for over 5 hours in 80 degree sun. Still need to change the filter drier then I can vac and charge the system which will be the true test of the A/C system.
Next is to put the big ass dashboard back in the van :O
My DIY isnt as interesting as David Tracys Jeeps, but my projects are rust free :P

Rust free Caravan. Those things have pretty much become part of the earth again here in Manitoba, Canada.

Yup, from that generation they are pretty uncommon here in Nova Scotia as well now. We do have a fair number of the gen after that left though.
I miss the ‘90-’95 or so gen of Caravan. We had one growing up and I miss that lovable old hunk. Never let us down once - ours was a ‘93. This is the only pic I have of it!
